Laundry Llama Terms and Conditions

1. General Agreement

By using the services of Laundry Llama (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the customer (“you” or “your”) agrees to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the use of our services, including but not limited to laundry pickup, cleaning, and delivery.

2. Service Description

Laundry Llama offers laundry pickup, cleaning, and delivery services within a specified service area. Our services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

3. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that the items provided for cleaning are suitable for machine washing and drying. Laundry Llama is not responsible for any damage resulting from items being unsuitable for standard laundry processes, including but not limited to delicate fabrics, colors that may bleed, or items with special care instructions.

4. Item Inspection and Damage

We take great care in handling your laundry; however, we are not responsible for:

• Any pre-existing damage to items, including but not limited to loose seams, missing buttons, or pre-existing stains.

• Any damage resulting from items left in pockets, such as pens, markers, or sharp objects.

• Shrinkage, color bleeding, or fading due to the natural properties of certain fabrics.

If any damage occurs that is attributable to Laundry Llama’s negligence, our liability is limited to a maximum of ten times the service cost for the damaged item, up to $50 per item.

5. Missing Items

We strive to ensure that all items are returned to you. In the unlikely event that an item is lost, Laundry Llama’s liability is limited to a maximum of ten times the service cost for the lost item, up to $50 per item. You must notify us within 48 hours of receiving your laundry delivery if any items are missing.

6. Payment and Pricing

All services are charged based on weight or subscription, as agreed upon at the time of order. Payment must be made in full before delivery unless otherwise arranged. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time, and any changes will be communicated to you before your next service.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. If you cancel within 24 hours, a cancellation fee of $10 will apply. Rescheduling is permitted without a fee if done at least 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

8. Subscription Services

For customers using our subscription services, any unused weekly pickups may roll over for up to one month. After one month, any unused pickups will expire. Additional weight beyond the included 10 pounds per pickup will be charged at $2 per pound.

9. Limitation of Liability

Laundry Llama’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the services in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruptions.

10. Force Majeure

Laundry Llama is not liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these terms due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Los Angeles, California.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you and will apply to services rendered after the effective date of the amendment.
